Reacting to the announcement by Sheffield City Council that has once again suspended its Garden Waste Collections service.

Cllr Tim Huggan, Lib Dem Shadow Cabinet member for The Environment said ‘The Council charges residents for collecting garden waste.  Residents are quite rightly angry that the service has been suspended for the second time this year.  They are no longer being provided with a service that they paid for.

Residents who have paid for the service should either be given a refund or have their collections that they haven’t had bee rolled over until 2021.’
